Panther A

Postby Boris Bakker » Wed Jul 28, 2010 5:12 pm

Hey guy's,

I had a post in this section aout an in- progress Panther but I can't find it anymore so here a new one.
Most of it is done but still some work to do on two more figures, the AA plates, periscopes and some touche- up's.
Unfortunately some pictures are influenced by too much light so some fine detail is not visible. When it is finished (hopefully before the KMK Scaleworld exhibition) I'll post better pictures. The AA plates look a bit strange now but I'm still working on them. The idea is that they are primer red with a white wash and cut by a torch (if that's the right English word) so I want to add more orange like tones as "fresh" rust now.
If anyone has any comments or suggestions i would be happy to hear them!

Best regards and thanks for looking!

looking good, like the hits on the front plate, the only negative thing i can find is that Panther A always had zimmerit on(as far as i know).Well but thast just concerning the historical aspect.
btw, seems like you forgot to paint the grills under those shields? They seem to have this grey plastic colour of the kit...
