Thank you kindly guys, much appreciated!

BK - I'd say there was not a real challenge with the actual usage of the hairspray for each layer. It really lies in the pre-thought process and proper execution of each layer of color. The challenge I was actually referring to was the build itself and the weathering. It became more of what not to do, than what I should do. My mental reference for WWII modeling is different than modern armor, so the challenge was in the applications of the post painting steps. On a sublimal level I think this what those of you that are familiar with my work will see -- say between the JSU-122 and this one. Both used a lot of HS, but the two look totally different in the end due to the post-painting processes.

I actually doubt it, this is a large and bulky model and would be difficult to fly with. But I do have a lot of other new unseen work to choose from. I promise not to disappoint! 8) Staf asked for a HS demo when I'm there, so I'll definitely bring examples of its use.

Best,

Mike

Hi Mike,

Wonderful finish, so fine and realsitic. Loads of construction near my home and work recently so am really up on looking at this equipment and wow that is spot on!!

The only picture I don't like is where you drove it outside to start pushing dirt around, that shot looks really fake. Wait a sec, that's the real one!?! :D

Sorry I am late Mike.. I just couldn't access the site for the last three weeks...

You have done an amazing job! So many colours, so many effects, so many things to learn in every corner of this piece!

Congratulations by a huge fan!

Cheers,

Dimitris
