I´m glad you are pushing the boundaries again Adam!
It kinda enriches the lower part of the turret. Are you gonna spray a coat of this on the hull also to correspont with the turret?

Keep it up

Yes I will Gunnar

I will post some images next week for your thoughts. Also, I am sorry that I did not get a chance to call you a few weeks ago. We were very busy and it all went by too fast as you can imagine. I would like to speak again shortly to catch up. Have a good weekend.

I was able to take a bit of time, despite the nice weather, and progress a bit more on this one over the past week. As of now I have applied all of the shadowing, added the oils and the tools mostly painted. Now I need to move onto the chipping.

Hope your summers are going well. Thanks for looking.

I wonder if the brown is too dark
When Spartans were told that the Persian army was so vast, that the arrows of its archers would darken the sky, they replied:
\"So much the better, we can fight in the shade.\"

Looking sharp Adam. I truly love your style. I want to say that I was a big fan of the original paint work. I am know loving this version. Your use of the opaques to add volume looks fantastic. I think it worked much beter than most "experiments" do! It looks as though the closer it comes to completion, the more it has your signiture look to it........................and that is a good thing! Love your work man.

Hi Adam !

as usual the quality of your work is top notch. but I have to say that i love wayyy much your older CM style than this one.
I can't say what exactly, but something's not looking "right" to my eyes actually 8O
but as I said it's not the quality, it's in the global effect ...
best regards
Franck

Good morning.
I appreciate the comments all of you. I was wondering how this one might go over.

Dear Patros, the red brawn on the upper lighter areas is actually pretty close I think. Of course the tones in the lower and recessed areas are a bit darker do to the shadowed effect. I researched it carefully with a friend when I was in Germany. But I must say that your comment is making me reconsider a bit. Thank you.

Dear Lain, I am also enjoying this one a lot more now with this finish. I am also glad that I changed it. This has become much more of a learning experience. Glad you like it man.

Good to see you around Franck. Thanks for the comment. This is an idea that I have wanted to try for a few years now. I think that the regular CM on a subject like this would have been difficult and time consuming.

Have a good week everyone.

Lookin sharp Adam, I wonder how you'll pull out this one. The idea of using those clear color mix is a nice touch, adds a warm look to the camo colours. Do you plan any figures for this one? I have a Tiger II somewhere on the shelf waiting for it's turn, maybe one day...

Have a good day

Hey Adam, this one really has a cold dark feeling to it, so I am imagining some rather heavy mud and pigment applications will bring this idea to fruition. It is definitely an original piece.

Keep pushing man...

Best,

Mike

Most of you have already seen these photos on ML. I would just like to place them here as well to finish this thread.

I did learn a lot about late war German armor in general while researching photos and literature about this model. Studying the factory camo was a challenge but rewording once finished. I now realize why so many modelers enjoy these well documented subjects. I am glad that I have had the opportunity to finish one of these during my life. These are educational subjects that also make beautiful models once finished.

Dear Tobas
I also want to paint my E-50 like this.

Man, I have gotten so many different comments about this model. I don’t think that I have ever received so many “likes” and “don’t likes” about one model before. It’s very interesting.

Thanks man.
