Too busy in my work, there is not much time left for my building. Continued on interior, 30 - 40 more pieces to be added before weathering.

Thank you Luiz and Indy, you guys are very kind.
Red color painted over black base on hand wheels, to make it easy I made simple masking tool, which worked just perfectly.

Continued on right side, brake regulators and some pipes glued on, more will be added next time. To get everything right, I will use another handy drawing from earlier mentioned book.

Continued on the side wall, the rest of pipes added and all connected together, except one dial, which I will get connected later, when toned varnish is applied overall and the window masking behind it taken off. For now the right side is finished.

I have applied a couple of variable toned varnish coats and basic weathering started, light rust around wash holes or firewall door, a bit of smoke black, more will be added on the floor and walls later, before the roof is glued on.

Some of that look kinda strange in pictures (lighter spots on front wall) but very good in reality - it seems to be much closer on this picture through the window.

All this will go just very lightly, in my case the loco is pretty new, built just 2 years before WWII.

Busy in work and working on some side project as well, not much time left for my loco at the moment. A couple of pictures - masters for my other build. Anyway, some fresh update should be here in a few days, so stay tuned

Its been a while, but the forum is back so we can keep going. My progress is very slow now anyway, so there is not much missed

Left side finished as well and rest of the parts added, then left wall glued on and finally the roof. Most is also weathered, small LED added inside the light and there should be enough light coming out through the slot in light cover.
