Fire Weathering Techniques

Postby vsuarez666 » Mon Jul 26, 2010 4:45 pm

Folks, I am looking for any type of reference materials (i.e., articles, pictures, how-tos) on how to weather burned out vehicles. Thank you for your attention and generous input in advance.

MiG's T-55 article is a good start point. It's in Xtreme Modelling issue 10.

Check out this link. http://site.scratchmod.com/Burnt_out_M1_Abrahms_tan.php Also, I believe that someone posted a build sequence article for a burnt out Abrahms on this forum including pics of the actual burnt out Abrahms used as a reference. Search the archives, I believe it was on this forum. Also, MIG Productions makes rust pigments and ashes pigments that will go a long way to achieving realism!
